The site content was developed by Kathryn Evans-Vince to support students all completing GCSE courses in years 10 and 11. I have been teaching ICT in an adult learning context for a number of years with a special interest in e-learning. For the past 5 years I have been teaching ICT at The Billericay School and latterly The King John School and I find it much more rewarding than my previous roles.

I like to develop my own materials and have used some excellent sites to help me with planning lessons and getting ideas, mainly teach-ict.com for all my key stage 3 lessons. I recently realised that I had finished an entire course for Applied ICT, a full set of projects for GCSE ICT and then after a brief (and disasterous!) year of DiDA I found myself working on materials for OCR Nationals. I share them will colleagues but with students asking to access them at home I thought it was time to smarten them up, put them online and share them with everyone. These materials are not designed to be stand alone but to compliment teaching and act as lesson plans. Having said that I find that once the students are used to the format they can carry on by themselves in a cover lesson with minimal supervision.
