In this unit students produce five reports looking at how ICT is used by different sections of society. Students explore a wide variety of technologies and evaluate both the technologies and their uses to obtain full marks.
Each report should show that ICT is being used to present work in a professional manner. The exam board allows students to present your work in the format of your choice but students can easily lose marks this is done incorrectly. To ensure this doesn't happen students are advised to produce reports in Word and remember they should be fit for purpose.
- For text use a size 12 Times or Arial font - fancy fonts can be difficult to read and are not appropriate for reports
- Word Art is not professional, keep it for front pages
- Make sure names and candidate numbers are in the header or footer
- Make sure page numbers are on each report
